We Are The World Benefit Concert

Music Unite held a fundraising concert to raise money for HomeFront. The kids of HomeFront, as well professional jazz bands, acrobats, and local singers make this performance unforgettable! With the theme, "We Are The World", a classic written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie, we hope to spread love and hope through our music and performances.

Music Unite has held two major and seven smaller fundraising concerts, raising $10,206 through ticket sales, donations, ads in music programs, and keychain sales. Months of preparation involve staff teaching group lessons on pitch, rhythm, vocal techniques, choreography, lyrics, public speaking, and acting. They also play games and cook together, creating happy memories. This process empowers the children, making them more comfortable expressing themselves.
